Du Cropio Damis Ciro Riserva, Calabria, Italy 2015

Dense and grippy red wine from Gaglioppo grape. The Damis is the most profound wine of the domaine and comes from steep hillside vineyards above and around the village of Ciro. An extended fermentation is followed by a long “elevage” in large barrel. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
