A blend of all the Village Cru plus Ronceret Premier Cru the 2021 Volnay Village has a very fragrant and floral bouquet with rose petals and peonies developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins fine depth and a little fleshiness towards the finish with a liberal sprinkling of white pepper. Worth seeking out.
