The red 2022 Font de la Figuera, produced with a blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It fermented in 2,500-liter tanks and matured in 500-liter oak barrels for one year, but this was bottled in March 2024; so, it's a second lot that feels different from the first one. It feels more polished and tertiary, with balsamic notes and a sleek palate. It's ripe at 15% alcohol, but it has a pH of 3.1. When tasted next to the finer 2021, this showed a touch of rusticity with dusty tannins. 8,900 bottles produced.
